PRINCE2 2009 is the latest best practice framework from the OGC. It keeps its core values but incorporates improvements based on feedback and acknowledges challenges which are facing today’s projects.

This course is intended for delegates who are familiar with the PRINCE2 project management method. It provides revision of the method and gives guidance and practice in preparing for the PRINCE2 Practitioner's examination administered by the Association of Project Managers Group (APMG).
Delegates should have some familiarity with projects and ideally Project Management tools and techniques, such as those covered in the Quanta Principles of Project Management course.
The PRINCE2 Practitioner course gives delegates a sound understanding of the PRINCE2 project management methodology and become familiar with the processes, components and techniques involved in PRINCE2.

The PRINCE2 Practitioner exam is in the "Objective Testing" format, consisting of 9 questions which are to be completed in 2.5 hours. The exam is open book although it is only the PRINCE2 manual that is allowed
15 hours of pre-course preparation work is required, along with some evening work during the course.
