Steve Lawless, one of the founding partners of Purple Griffon, is a highly experienced Service Management Trainer/Consultant, with over 27 years experience gained within a variety of IT roles. His knowledge spans Operations Management, Project Management, Application and Technical Infrastructure Management and Support. For the last 12 years Steve has worked specifically in Service Management. Steve has worked for a variety of organisations, both large and small, across private and public sectors. This has given Steve a rich variety of experience within the IT industry. A healthy balance of training and consultancy assignments allow Steve to retain up to date knowledge and hands-on experience, also allowing him to bring a 'real world' experience to his training courses.
Ken McGunigle is one of the founding partners of Purple Griffon. Over the past 32 years Ken has worked in a variety of IT Consultancy roles for a number of well known organisations in the Finance and Mobile Telephony sector. As a result, this has given Ken 'first hand' experience of how the ITIL framework has benefited these organisations, plus how any challenges/issues can be approached in a number of different ways. Ken is a highly experienced Service Management Trainer/Consultant and his knowledge spans various roles within Operations and Technical Support. For the last 14 years Ken has worked in a variety of Service Management roles, specialising in Transition.
Lesley joins us with a strong training background, having spent several years teaching in FE. Before coming to Purple Griffon, Lesley was a founding member of the team that established 'learndirect', the e-learning organisation, across Cumbria. Along with Mark and the team, she will be happy to discuss your training requirements with you.
Bob joins us with a proven track record in IT Service Management, a strong customer service approach and a successful background of ITIL training and consultancy. He is known for his common sense approach, and has extensive ITIL-based incident, problem & change management experience. During his time with a major bank in London, he was involved in several disaster recovery scenarios, acting as a liaison between technical teams and senior management. Bob is based in Essex and delivers many of our London courses - his very high pass rates mean he is much sought after by our regular customers.
Mark comes from a background of technical support and customer service having worked for ntl:home and Freeserve broadband. When not selling ITIL course he makes sure the Purple Griffon website is in order and also looks after the E-marketing including SEO and PPC campaigns.
Wendy has recently rejoined the sale team here at Purple Griffon as an experienced IT and Consultancy Senior Sales Account Manager. She has a successful track record of selling into small, Medium and the larger corporate companies. For the past 15 years Wendy has worked in a variety of IT Sales roles including ITIL and Prince2 in more recent years.
We are delighted to welcome Debbie who has recently joined the team at Purple Griffon as a Sales Account Manager. Coming from a strong sales and marketing background, Debbie previously worked in sales for a local newspaper. Debbie has superb customer service skills and since graduating from University has had a lot of experience in this area. Debbie is also CIM qualified and will look after the Marketing at Purple Griffon.
Rachel has a background in recruitment and retail banking. Rachel has excellent administration skills and manages our resourcing and printing requirements
